It seems netbook giant Asustek, maker of the EeePC, is feeling the pinch of the iPad on it's netbook sales.
According to Digitimes it has lowered its third quarter netbook shipments goal for 2010.
Many questioned the iPad as being capable enough to be a 'netbook' killer, fairly pointing out that with no ports and iOS it was little more than a coffee table toy. Especially against the might of the EeePC and the Samsung NC10.
Perhaps for most people it is more than capable of providing their computing needs on the move. It's certainly more elegant than a 7" screen and a cramped keyboard....
